The Paper Mate PhD has one of the best feels around, and I believe, was the one that started the ergonomic grip for pens. The PhD is a bit thick, but the ribbed, triangular grip is endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association.

It PhD uses Paper Mate's Libriglide ink system for great ink flow once you get started. It has a great look to it with a few different barrel colors available, though it only comes in black ink.

The only thing I don't like about it is Paper Mate's option drop. It seems that it used to come in more barrel colors, and it used to be available with copper/gold colored accents instead of the silver/chrome look.
