Reviewer Comments:

The Pilot Jetstream click pen is the closest to perfect that I have found. The smooth writing is astounding. The only trouble I've had with the .7 mm is when I got to the end of the supply, but one lasts about three months at work, and I write a lot of reports. The 1.0 mm can take a short stroke or two to start writing again, and the writing feels like a regular ball point, though the pen itself still feels great.

Both have a stainless steel tip with 1.0 mm or 0.7 mm tungsten carbide rolling ball. The barrel is plastic with a rubber grip that has a great feel. The 1.0s have a black barrel, while the .7s have a blue barrel. The .7s seem to write almost like a .5 though.

The Jetstream boasts quick-drying ink, fade- and water-resistant ink (not good for writing on your hands), and helps prevent "check washing."

As close to perfect as I've found yet

This is one of the best pens I've ever used. Beautifully smooth writing, even on low quality paper.

Feels good in your hand and the grip material extends all the way up, which is nice for writing.

It is a bit difficult to twirl the pen between your fingers if that's your habit, and the silver coating on the very tip sometimes flakes off, exposing the plastic. This generally happens only after hard use or abuse, but these minor details are a single bad drop in a lake of otherwise wonderful performance.

Again, this is the best roller pen I have ever used. After I tried it the first time I went back to the store and bought half a dozen more.

almost perfect pen

Despite it's a little too large to handle if you write a lot, it's the best pen I've ever used
